Michelle Cornish, A.S.

Program Manager

Originally from Texas, Michelle joins the SLG team with more than 10 years of human services experience working within child protective services and corrections. She has always possessed a heartfelt passion for helping those in need. She brings compassion, intelligence, and warmth to each person she interacts with. These qualities have ensured a positive impact on the communities she has served.

In 2011, Michelle’s mother was in an accident that left her with a TBI. This provided firsthand experience in helping rebuild her mother’s life through relearning basic skills, developing goals, and cognitive rehabilitation. It’s an ongoing journey that Michelle is committed to taking not only for her mother but for others as well. Through this, it has made it easy to transition into her role at SLG.

Michelle graduated with honors from Everett College with an associate’s in Medical Assisting in 2006 and is currently pursuing another degree in Applied Sciences.
