Brooke Barwick

Program Coordinator

Brooke Barwick joined The Supported Living Group in February 2026 as a Program Coordinator. She brings a strong background in human services and a deep commitment to supporting individuals with acquired brain injuries (ABI), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, and aging-related needs across community-based settings in Connecticut.

In her role, Brooke works collaboratively with participants, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of person-centered, community-based services that promote independence, dignity, and overall quality of life. She is dedicated to fostering meaningful connections and supporting individuals in achieving their personal goals within their homes and communities.

Brooke’s professional experience includes direct care, behavioral support, and Personal Care Assistant (PCA) services. She has supported individuals with activities of daily living, community integration, and skill development. Earlier in her career, she served as a Lead Care Manager for an individual with an acquired brain injury, where she oversaw a 24-hour care team and coordinated medical and therapeutic services to ensure safety, stability, and continuity of care.

She has completed Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training and is certified in Adult and Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and AED.

As the parent of an adult son with autism and intellectual disabilities, Brooke brings a meaningful personal perspective to her work. This lived experience informs her compassionate, family-centered approach and strengthens her commitment to supporting individuals and families navigating Connecticut’s disability and home care service systems.
